Why the switch?

I've had this blog for over a year now. I actually created it for a class last summer for my students and parents to practice their French as I practiced mine by posting in French. BUT, like I had time for that.

I have been using and paying for Baby Jellybeans for over a year now, so I get a free cd of my website finally, and in my opinion, there is really no reason to continue paying for a website when I could just do a blog for free. Knowing I'm paying also makes me feel pressured to update the site which takes MANY hours every time to do a complete overhaul of the look and content. True, blogs are not anywhere near as cute, are less user-friendly, and have far fewer features, but I can upload pictures and videos, create polls, and you can leave comments. What more do I really need?

I hope my faithful readers will continue to check in on us and that this blog will give you the same kind of pleasure that our baby site did. Please let me know if there's something you'd like more of or changed, and I will try to oblige. Let the blogging begin.
